Why we don’t believe in industry 4.0
By Ron van Helvoirt on Dec 20, 2020
The new era calls for new leadership. A different form of organization. A different use of technology. One where the labour factor is becoming less important. A social change in which people have a different role. Nobody knows exactly how this will develop. One thing is certain. These are uncertain times. Times that create uncertainty and confusion. Creating a vacuum. We are struggling with it. We want to change, but we don't know how.
There are many different views and opinions about the future. History does not give us the answer. So, we have to rely on our insights. Trust in the wisdom of the group. To working feedback systems. And, software that supports this process.
That is exactly why we founded DUCKMADE. DUCKMADE is a group of young smart IT professionals with offices in the Netherlands and Norway. IT professionals who work together within their DNA. Where no one is the boss. DUCKMADE opts for independence and cooperation rather than worldly management, control and dominance. We are locally oriented. Our vision is that IT Solutions should support people on a no-code basis. And that this is only possible by involving people. IT systems can offer organizations many opportunities and fundamentally change work in positive ways.
At DUCKMADE we put the holistic perspective at the centre. In addition to the technical side of the solution, the social aspects are at least as important. For us, moral and ethical action are the compass here. We are there for organizations that do not want to wait and have the courage to choose Society 4.0 over Industry 4.0.
